General Information : Süleyman Demirel Unıversity Şarkikaraağaç Vocational School opened in 31.10.1995.  
Qualification Awarded : Laboratory and Veterinary Health technicians  
Level of Qualification : Short Cycle (Associate?s Degree).Students specified with the decision of the Council of Ministers designated by paying the student contribution or tuition fee are required to renew their registration in the academic calendar at the beginning of each semester and within the period. Students that semester / year, will take courses, with academic advisors during registration is determined. Lessons of a program applied to move system began to study at first-class students, recording their semester / year are required to take all the courses  
Specific Admission Requirements : High school diploma,
Placement through a centralized national university placement examination.
 
Specific Arrangements for Recognition of Prior Learning (formal, non-formal and informal) : The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine graduates with a vertical section of the exam to pass and may qualify to settle their Health School.  
Qualification Requirements and Regulations : National qualifications frameworks may contain levels (or intermediate qualifications) within the three Bologna cycles (e.g. a short cycle within the first cycle). These levels allow institutions to structure a particular qualification and regulate progression through the qualification. Qualification Requirements and Regulations are enacted by YÖK (The Council Of Higher Education) in Turkey.  
Profile of The Programme : 1) Firstly, to take the precautions about health and work safety in the working environment 
2 )To make the maintenance of laboratory equipments properly and make them operate efficiently and properly 
3 )To determine the deficiencies in the laboratory and fullfill them 
4 )To get the biologic samples (blood, excreta, culture, etc.) from the patients 
5 )To protect these samples ,which taken from the patients properly, in good conditions 
6 )To prepare the materials for the analysis 
7 )To analyze (pathological, biochemical, microbiologic-parasitologic etc.) the materials 
8 )To control the analysis results 
9 )To transport the analysis results to the specialist 
10 )To follow the technological developments 
11 )To approach patients with compassion and to work with an effort for understand their psychology without forgetting human and animal rights. 
12 )To use all kinds of technical equipment in land and natural conditions, to apply the practical tests, herd treatment in the field of veterinary, to work quickly and efficiently in vaccinations applications. 
13 )To obtain information about Riding and horse farming 
14 )To do studies which aimed to increase fertility. 
15 )Patient care, to apply the implement quickly with the most effective way that have been suggsted by first aid and treatment of physicians and veterinarians.

Access to Further Studies : Students can continue their graduate education who can success for DGS examination  
Aims Of Programme : To train the proffessional staff; whom are sensitive against the conditions of modern world and also our country, aware of the principles of Ataturk, supports the national culture and values, who targets to serve his/her nation, country and the humanity, basis on the universal sciences and education about veterinary health sciences and industry, who can merge the theoretical knowledge with practice; who can do the requirements of his/her profession by using the knowledge about the materials and Technologies; who can prepare the necessasry poroducts which his/her profession requires; who can contribute the veterinary health standards and laboratory standards of elderly, who can perceive the problems and can produce solutions and has analytical thinking abilities and who are suitable for teamwork  
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading : Examinations are evaluated according to elements which are taken into consideration of University regulations by teaching staff.   
Graduation Requirements : Take all the courses required for graduation in the legal process and to be successful in this course provided that the program continues at least 2.00 Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) and to complete intership to 30 days.

3. Visual and practical methods
4. Discussion-based methods courses such as processing methods are applied. These methods are supported in themselves by laboratory studies, practices, project studies and technical tours.
